Tampon Timer is a simple alarm app to help women stay fresh and prevent prolonged use.

To set up a reminder simple enter the app, tap on the product you'd like a reminder for and select a time.

When it's time to be reminded, you'll receive a push notification alerting you it's time to change. You are then given the option to dismiss the reminder, or snooze it for 30 minutes. You can adjust the snooze time in the settings page of the app.

This application also includes a daily pill reminder which allows you to select which time you'd like to be reminded daily.

So far its been great. I wish the snooze on reminders was longer, as sometimes the alarms are insistent and frequent. The seem to have introduced ads recently. They perfectly block necessary information when setting a new timer and can't be closed. So that's infuriating.

It works but is often very glitchy. Many times I remember myself that it's time to change my cup and the app will not have alerted me. Other times I'll have not set an alarm but it sends me an alert anyway. Or I'll dismiss an alert but it acts as though I haven't. The app is also not very customizable and the sounds can be too annoying and alerting everyone around me. Unfortunately it's the only period app that I've found that is for reminders and not just tracking.

Useless reminder function. Zero stars actually. Unless I open the app, I don't receive any reminder notification for the reminders I set. This is really silly and defeats the purpose of the app. I see nowhere to change this in Settings and have never experienced an app that only reminds me when I open the app.
