About this game

tXtFL is a text-based strategic football simulator. Become Coach to call the plays and manage your team.

Run full seasons, import new leagues, and create and customize your own team and players. Test your skills online through multiplayer match-ups via Google Play Games.

Franchises let you build and follow your team across multiple seasons. Players rise through the ranks until injuries or retirement give way to new draftees.

This simulator uses the same engine as the desktop version as an ongoing football modeling project, with the goal of realistically simulating football games. This app is a work in progress, and constructive feedback is always welcome.

Ratings and reviews

Love it! But it's a little difficult seeing the plays. I wish the actual visuals of the plays being run were similar to Madden even if it's sky cam. I still love it though. Madden type visuals please.

Good. But please fix the playoffs depth with additional numbers. There must be a first round bye. Some of the leagues here end immediately without the last two teams.

It's fun, I wish there was a draft, training and such, but I like the play selection and the quickness of play!

-Sounds! Basic football noises such as rowd noises, cheers, and whistles (option to turn off in Settings)
-Deeper passing routes and all-go plays
-RBs are less injury prone
-Fewer penalties on returns
