No special permissions needed. Uses only device sensors for temperature measurement.

Temperature unit type °C or °F can be switched from the menu or by touching the unit sign.

Attention! : Calibration option can be used for fine tuning. An another precise analog thermometer is needed only for once.

Keep away from too hot or too cold objects for better results.

Thermometer uses your phone's battery temperature sensor and some other device data to measure the indoor temperature. Location is not needed.

Important! : For accurate results, please leave your phone without use about 5-10 minutes. Then indoor temperature will be measured correctly. When your phone is in use the battery warms up and temperature is measured higher than real.

The temperatures are correct if the phone has been unused and unhandled. As soon as the phone is active, the temperatures are wacky. Hard to know if the temperatures are from my hands(usually cold), maybe the result of internet travel/websites or who knows? Sure would be excellent for the temperatures to be air temps only. I don't even know if that is possible. This was the one and only thermometer I could believe would gove me air temps. HEY THERE!! After rating your thermometer, temp 80.2.

I just downloaded the app. Impressive so far! The weather radar map, as other users mentioned, is a great feature, well constructed, and nice graphics. Instructions are given to achieve most accurate readings. The app also includes video montages of the interstate near our home over 24 hrs. Initially was just looking for an indoor thermometer app. This is much more. The reviews were the best out of the other thermometer apps. The adds are hardly noticeable. It's a keeper!

The temperature is fairly well accurate if you haven't touched the phone in a while. Otherwise it's a bit high because it's counting either your body heat or battery heat. The additional feature of the weather map with temps & wind speed is excellent. However, haven't found a way to get the tiny numbers/graphics on the bottom of the page to pinch out for magnification.
