About this app

As Hjerteløber, you opt in to run out with an AED and provide life-saving CPR if a cardiac arrest occurs near you. You register and receive alerts via the TrygFonden Hjerteløber App, which you download here.

You must be 18 years of age and able to provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) to register as Hjerteløber.

As a Hjerteløber, you are an extra resource for ambulance and other emergency services. The AMK / alarm centers automatically sends you an alert via the App if there is a cardiac arrest near you.
During an alert, the Hjerteløber app continuously uses your GPS, which may reduce battery life.

Great app, but I have a lot of freeze problems on my OnePlus 7 Pro (using the latest version as of October 2). It always works the first time I open the app, and it also autostarts when I restart the phone. So far so good. However, the second or third time I enter the app, it freezes and will not close properly when I click Android's "arrow left". I can't close it in any other way than using Android's general app handler (Android's "square button" at the bottom), and after that, the app doesn't start properly, because the loading screen never changes into the app screen. I shut down my phone completely at least twice a week and it doesn't change a thing. After rebooting the phone, the pattern above repeats itself. It works once or maybe twice - tops, then it will not respond nor shut down properly. To ensure that I'm alarmed the day someone has a heart attack close to me, it would be greatly reassuring if the app didn't freeze as much. For my own sake but definitely mostly for the sake of people around me with a weak heart. :)

I wasn't sure if it worked until I got an alarm a few days ago. I ran to the next defibrillator (was luckily a few meters away) and ran to the address. Once I was back home the defibrillator was not shown anymore until it was put back in place a few days later and showed back up. It was nice to see that the system works! Save lives, become a hjerteløbere!

Fantastic initiative but the app doesn't work. Can't select menu without the phone freezing, can't even move around the map. This is after the latest update.
