Accessibility Service

The accessibility service is necessary for a series of alarm tasks called CAPTCHA. Completing tasks such as sheep counting, doing math, or scanning a barcode on your toothpaste will ensure you get up on time and are fully awake.
The accessibility Service prevents you from cheating the CAPTCHA tasks by force stopping the app or turning off the device before completing them. No personal information is collected.

Device Admin

This app may also use the Device Administrator permission to prevent you from cheating CAPTCHA tasks (see above) by uninstalling the app.

Update: I guess it's time to uninstall. Since the latest update, the UI has become a frustrating bunch of little "cards" you have tap on to see the data you need. Gone is the simple one page display of your data in a cohesive and coherent report you used to be presented with each morning. It's a shame to see the total decline of this app. At least the alarm functions are useful. Maybe I'll use just ad that and do the sleep tracking through a better app.

Hello, the app still shows the simple overview with sleep score and hypnograph - which you can expand to see all data. What about the new layout do you dislike? Our contact is support@urbandroid.org. Thank you.

I wish it let you set your location manually for the weather and sunrise features, and I wish there was an optional feature for dream(/nightmare) tracking. I know a lot of people like tracking their dreams, and personally I'd really appreciate being able to see if there are any patterns the app could pick up. A simple "did you dream? yes/no" with a box to check if it was a nightmare would be enough for me, and adding the option to journal about it would probably be popular.

Hello Dyl, you can add the tag to the graph - we already have tags for #gooddream and #baddream, but you can create your own (even use emoji). Type #text or #emoji and the app will create a new unique tag. It will be added to the selection and used in the long-term stats. For more details, please contact support@urbandroid.org. Thank you.

Been using this alarm for years. After changing phones it's started killing the battery if I sleep through it. Iirc my old phone would wake the screen when it went off, but it would dim/shut off again shortly after (with alarm still going off). Now though, the screen stays on and kills the battery. I've already disabled the morning screen, but I'm unsure what else to do. Will happily edit this to 5 stars if you can help me resolve this. edit1: 1 to 3 stars, emailing support
