this feature works perfectly! thank you Verizon! Update: a year after using the app, it didn't seem to catch as many scam calls as it used to. So I tried the paid app for 3.99 a month. It's better but there is an annoying quirk. Call that have been blocked don't get thru but I get a notification with sound on top of whatever I'm doing. Why??? If I've blocked the number, why would I care if they keep calling ? As far as I'm concerned, I don't even want them sent to voice-mail. 3/23. No good.

This app is awful. I receive at least 15 spam calls per day, and this app is set to block all potential spam levels. The worst part: it also incorrectly labels legitimate calls as spam. I missed out on a job interview because of that. Thanks Verizon! I even changed my phone number, and that seems to have made it worse. My phone number is on the do not call registry. I've done all I can do, but the spam just doesn't end. Fix your app, Verizon.

Well this app hasn't blocked a single call in the last 3 months and was 20% block to 80% allow the previous 3 months. The 3 months b4 was maybe 50/50. Verizon's servers know where the spam comes from but allows the spoofed caller ID to go through because they make money on the call into their servers and out to you. Find something else. 03/01/2024 Update: works much better. They've done a lot of upgrades to the functionality and the ability to block real spam
