It was definitely moving in the right direction - better journalism, proof reading, content. But we live in world where nothing is free, so we're seeing a slow slide towards paid content. We'll have to wait and see whether that works, but it's unlikely I'll be paying yet another subscription.

Very poor performance. Stories do not refresh well, and old stories seem to hang around for days. App regularly crashes while reading articles. It's had two updates this week and seems to be worse after each one. I will remove this app from my device and go back to using Wales online on my browser. I'm very disappointed. Can't give it any lower than 1 star. Also, it has a pay wall for "premium" articles. It seems a bit of a rip-off as the stories will generally be available elsewhere for free.

The new update is abysmal. It takes an age to load the page if it loads at all, and if I go into a story, it then takes an age to reload the page. Can we please have the last version back. *Update* I have just updated the app, and the loading issues appear to have been fixed. The only thing the app needs now is the ability to swipe left or right to the next story like the previous version.
