I love this app, but am looking for a way to get my Pixel 2 to follow the commands dictated by the scanning of the tag WITHOUT having to select NFC ReTag (Pro) as the app to "listen" to the commands on the tag. Please advise.

Hi, please have a look at the "write a special NFC ReTag tag" feature ("more " button). This feature just writes some small routing info on the tag. For non-writeable tags, you must deactivated other NFC Apps listening for this kind of NFC tags. Usually, deactivating the standard system “Tags" app will do the trick.
