About this game

Fans of the old classic strategy wargame "Empire" will feel right at home with Mother Of All Battles where the object is to capture the world starting from your single home city. Each city can build units (either tanks, planes, paratroopers, bombers, transports, destroyers, battleships, submarines or aircraft carriers) in order to explore the world and defeat your enemies.

There's a lot of AI in the computer's moves and there are 260 maps to play on.

I use to love this game during the days of Windows 95. However, present day verson needs reworked. One tank on its own should not be able to wipe out 4 fresh tanks while all 4 are hitting it each turn. Also, I hate how the enemy single basic plans or single destroyer will kill 6 100% health units in a single turn, but mine never do anywhere near that damage. This game clearly cheats to the point it's not worth playing.

I have enjoyed this game a lot. It is very similar to the older Stratic Conquest that was on the Apple system. The only problem I have had with this newer version is it sometimes does not save the game and it asks me if I want to accept the surrender when I start a new game.

This is a sublime game, cannot recommend it enough. It just has a save game glitch that's really annoying where you can't save a second try in a game if you've already lost. Also I can't restart my game
