Ratings and reviews

Not as good as some of the other apps for actually learning how to speak spanish. I got it to learn the numbers since the other apps dont get into right away. It is very good for that, and a handy resource to accompany another learning app. But why would you choose somebody with a lisp to do the recordings for an app trying to teach people a new language? The irony is hilarious. 4 stars.

I like how it starts with the very basics (letters, numbers) and how it has the lessons grouped and organized. However there isn't a "settings" function that I can find, and no way to turn up the volume. The speaker is very hard to understand and is lisping some of the pronunciation. Maybe it's a regional thing? I'll keep it for now, switch to earbuds and see if it helps the volume issue, and use it in conjunction with another Spanish app.

Great supplemental app. I started working in a department where most of my coworkers are native speakers, and wanted to learn as quickly as possible. I use duolingo as my primary app, which better suits my learning style, but I refer to this app quite often. I feel like there is some essential info here that has helped tremendously. Stand alone, I don't know that I could have the level of understanding I currently have through simply memorizing phrases. Still a solid 4 stars.
