Open app and click START. A small compass will be displayed which will overlay any app opened.

Click the small compass to stop the overlay.

Drag the small compass to move it on the screen.

Simple to use and very helpful when viewing maps on a phone.

This compass points to magnetic north.

Great idea, but the compass on screen is very small and has neither degree markings nor transparency, so it's not much good for taking a bearing. Also, no info on what personal data is collected, shared, or how to opt out of this.

Excellent app. The overlay feature that enables the compass to remain functional and visible while within other apps makes this compass a must have. My only request is that the app offer a simple Bearing (0-359) view in addition to the compass view.

Works but not in the car...just like a regular compass. The instrumentation in the vehicle messes with the direction. I place my phone in my mount and the compass doesn't move. Pull it away from the dash it moves.
