About this app

This program does not contain any music files and does not get any from the internet. It only uses files that are already on the device.

The program is designed to differ from similar ones, as it is optimised for "classical music". Therefore:

* there are composers and performers instead of "artists",
* there are works and movements instead of "songs",
* long artist or title names etc. are never truncated.
* and multi track works, like symphonies, are presented accordingly.

The program can also work together with the Classical Music Tagger and the Classical Music Scanner.

The application provides ten genderism modes, from generic masculine ("unknown composer") up to Bündnis 90/Die Grünen ("unknown*ess composer*er*ess").

Note: The screenshots are examples. The music shown is neither included in the program nor is automatically created or loaded from internet.

This app us great for organizing and listening to classical music. It understands that songs should be organized by composer, grouping, performer and album, and that song names should never be abbreviated. Literally *no* other app out there can properly handle all tags that are simply required for classical music (composer, grouping, performer). Many thanks to the developer for spending so much time on creating this and offering it practically for free.

For me this would be a 5-star app whether it worked or not, just for the attempt. Looking at your comments regarding the impossibility of finding classical music-based apps, everything being a "song" by an "artist" on other apps and so forth was like you'd read my mind. So thank you for your efforts so far. I'm still finding my way around the app a little, but some things I would like to see would be: - an option to tap to just show the whole library in cover artwork view (with basic details options). It seems that once, say, a composer is selected there's no way back apart from the full composer list option or by rebuilding the database - an option to delete a queued "Playing" playlist (this seems possible only with a "Replace" when adding a new recording) - an option to add composer portraits (including adding by internet search) in place of the simplistic generic icon. There also seems to be an issue with sorting at times, though this could be a filename issue. Eg, when I open The Well-tempered Clavier, I have: [1/1] Prelude No. 13 in F sharp major [1/1] Prelude No. 1 in C major [1/2] Fugue No. 1 in C major. But ***** nonetheless!

Thanks for the critics! Regarding composer portraits: Use the three-dot-menu to open the (offline) help text and follow the instructions in the first paragraph. For your other problems: Read the text thoroughly, as there are should be detailed descriptions of the program's philosophy. In doubt ask via email, and I will improve the text.

This is a brilliant app. It is very well thought through for organising and selecting 'classical' music.
