About this app

You are holding the book "Ice Cream - Survival in Extreme Worlds" by McDonald's in your hands and you can now use this app to bring many of the pictures shown in the book to life on your smartphone or tablet - simply by scanning the pages in the book with AR markers . Great fun!

Here's how to bring the book to life:

• Install this app ("EIS-AR") on your smartphone or tablet.
• Scan a page with an orange "AR +" sign and the penguin on it. The sound of your device must be switched on so that you can use all functions.
• You can navigate through the AR world with simple gestures and your fingers. If you see a button in the AR world, you can simply tap it.

• With some 3D models you can see different states - use the slider for this.

• Tip: You can use the drop-down menu at the top left to return to the main menu from any mode, to restart an action or to receive information about the games.

What is Augmented Reality?
Augmented Reality (AR for short) combines the real world with interactive animations that you can call up on a smartphone or tablet. For example, you can look at pictures in a book or magazine in 3D, look at them from all sides or deal with them in a playful way. With the "EIS-AR" app you can get to know a number of possible AR functions with which you can immerse yourself in the world of the coldest regions in the world. Let yourself be surprised!
