About this app

This Hjertestarter app was developed by TrygFonden. Via the map, you can see where the nearest defibrillator is located at any time. The healthcare workers can do the same when you call 1-1-2, so that first aiders can be guided to the nearest defibrillator if it is close by.

In an acute emergency, the most important thing is to always call 1-1-2 rather than looking for a defibrillator via a mobile app. Via 1-1-2, you will be in direct contact with a healthcare worker who can guide you in cardiopulmonary resuscitation.

Every year around 5,000 people in Denmark have a cardiac arrest outside the hospital. Today, barely 10 percent survive. With cardiopulmonary resuscitation and rapid cardiac arrest, it is estimated that far more Danes will be able to survive a cardiac arrest.
