I really enjoy this app. If you are currently working on learning more kanji and/or your Japanese listening skills, this is a useful app to have. You can read or listen to just keep yourself practicing those skills. For some words, it will provide a definition option in Japanese. These are written in a really accessible way. My one issue with the app is the translator attached to it. I find it to be a bit cumbersome.

The lessons from storyline are helpful. However, there are some huge potentials from other features that need to be developed. For example, providing text and translation for podcast. As for now it remains not very useful.

the image translation was really helpful, other than that i didn't use it that much. i understand the dev needs to put charges for lesson materials, voice speech etc but i don't think putting limitation to the translation feature is necessary. it's something to consider so people would rather use this app than going back to their google translator, but otherwise 4/5.
