This is a remake of the classic DOS game Blockout for the IBM XT. The controls were a little cumbersome at first, but once I got the hang of it, it was just fine (hint: the gesture-based controls are far superior to the "keypad"). Unplaced blocks could use some transparent shading to help visualize them, but a great game and no ads.

I had Block Out in the early 90s and was hoping this is it. Unfortunately, it's a "not so good" version. The contrast between the tile being spinned and the surrounding is not high enough, so it's hard to understand which way the tile is facing. The moving view doesn't help at all. The controls are also a bit confusing.

This is exactly what I was looking for, pure 3D Tetris. However the controls are terrible, you cannot tell which button rotates on which axis. There's also no pause button. It's also difficult to see how a piece is oriented while it's falling.
