About this app

“ST-ID50A” is an application that connects an Android device and an ID-50 with a USB cable to send the TX Pictures of the Share Picture function to the radio and to read the received RX Picture History by radio to view the pictures.

- You can send photos you have taken or photos/images stored on your Android device as TX Pictures for the Share Picture function by the ID-50.
- You can crop the pictures and enter text, such as a call sign.
- You can save the created TX Picture as a file.
- You can load the received RX Picture History of the ID-50 and view them.
- You can save the received RX Picture History of the ID-50 as a file.

Device requirements:
1 Android 8.0 or later
2 USB On-The-Go (OTG) host function

Supported transceiver
- Icom ID-50
*A USB cable is required to connect to the Radio.

NOTE
- Icom does not guarantee that the ST-ID50A works on all Android devices. It may not work properly, depending on the OS version, installed applications, or other reasons.

- In this application, you can use the font registered in Google Fonts. Internet access is required to get the font. It does not guarantee that all fonts registered with Google Fonts will be usable.

- Taking pictures using this application, and the selection of image files require an external app. If you want to use these features, you need to install camera apps, file manager apps, and gallery apps that can work with this app.

- The ST-ID50A may not be usable, even if your Android device supports the USB OTG host function.
