AquaMozc is a Japanese IME app for Unihertz Titan / Titan Pocket / Titan Slim.
Supports Japanese input with a keyboard with PC-like operability.
This app and Aquamarine Networks., Which develops this app, are not affiliated with Unihertz.
[Important] This app can be installed on devices other than Unihertz Titan / Titan Pocket / Titan Slim, but it only works with the Titan series. If you make a mistake, please process an immediate refund.

■■ What is Aqua Mozc for Titan? ■■
AquaMozc for Titan (this application) is based on the IME application called Mozc (https://github.com/google/mozc) released as an open source version of the Google Japanese input application, and has a keyboard layout of Unihertz Titan. It will be an optimized Japanese IME app.
By treating the physical shift key as a CTRL key , this application works with the standard key binding used in PCs, etc., and is not familiar with the usability of Unihertz Titan genuine IME. Ideal for users.
■■ How to use ■■
Start this application and follow the instructions on the screen to set it as IME.
This application is called when you press the key in the place where you can enter text.
■■ Keyboard layout (Titan) ■■
It is assigned as follows.
Shift → ctrl
ctrl + J / B / N / M → Cursor key up / down / left / right
Others are as labeled.
* Please note that the keyboard layout does not work unless it is in the text input area.
■■ Soft keyboard (Titan) ■■
When IME is enabled, a soft keyboard will be displayed at the bottom of the screen.
From the left, it is arranged in the order of shift, comma, kuten, sound pull, cursor left, cursor right, Japanese-English switching, virtual keyboard display.
The shift key switches in the order of no shift → only one key is valid → locked.
Range selection is possible by linking shift lock and cursor key operation.
■■ Keyboard layout (Titan Pocket) ■■
In advance, assign as follows in System Settings> Smart Assist> Shortcut Settings> Sym Key / Fn key> Programmable Key.
Sym key → Ctrl key
Fn key → Symbol key
It is assigned as follows.
Symbol →-(minus, hyphen, macron)
Ctrl + J / B / N / M → Cursor key up / down / left / right
The following symbols can be entered by combining the ALT + SHIFT + keys.
You can call the help screen by pressing ALT + SHIFT + H.
* Please note that the keyboard layout does not work unless it is in the text input area.
■■ Soft keyboard (Titan Pocket) ■■
When the "Show IME bar" option is enabled, a soft keyboard similar to Titan can be displayed.

■ Display position of conversion candidates
Set the display position of conversion candidates to either directly below the input character string or at the bottom of the screen. By default, it is directly under the input character string.
■ Alphanumerical input directly
When enabled, the keys entered in alphabetic mode are confirmed directly without being put in the conversion buffer. Predictive conversion of the alphabet will not be available.
■ Use ".," As a punctuation mark
When enabled, ".," Is entered as the punctuation mark instead of ".,".
■ Swap shift and Ctrl keys (Titan Pocket only)
When enabled, the shift and Ctrl keys are swapped.
■ Show IME bar (Titan Pocket only)
When enabled, the soft keyboard will be displayed.
■ Disable auto-repeat
As of 9/20/2021, it has been reported that some Titan Pockets shipped by crowdfunding contain individuals with defective key repeat rates due to hardware or OS problems.

Unihertz's view on this matter is unknown, but we have added a "disable auto-repeat" feature, following the pre-installed IME Kika-Keyboard.
(The repeat operation by pressing and holding the key is suppressed. The backspace key and the cursor key by ctrl + JBNM repeat.)
If you do not have any problems, we recommend using the default (off) state.
■■ Import user dictionary ■■
Experimentally, I have created a UI for selecting a user dictionary file for Mozc. At the moment, we have confirmed the operation with the user dictionary exported from Google Japanese Input / Mozc and the user dictionary distributed for Google Japanese Input. Some distributed user dictionaries are in Shift JIS format and may not be read normally. In such a case, convert it to UTF-8 with a text editor and then import it.
We have not confirmed the export data from other IMEs, so it would be helpful if you could report the operation confirmation.
It is convenient to go through Google Drive because you can read Google Drive files at the time of import.
■■ User dictionary for AquaMozc ■■
This application does not include a dictionary of katakana words and English words. To make up for this, we distribute user dictionaries on the following pages. Please check the contents and import the user dictionary if necessary.

■■ Privacy Policy ■■
This application does not send the entered character string, application usage statistics, crash report, Google Play license information, personal information, etc. to the outside.
From within the settings screen, you may open an external website with WebView.
There is no permission request for communication function and read / write function to shared storage.
■■ Known issues ■■
Problems may occur depending on the compatibility with the application.
Some apps do not allow Japanese input from the physical keyboard.
It does not support operations when an external Bluetooth keyboard is connected.
For ALT + W, "・" (middle black) is entered in Japanese mode, but this is not a bug. If you convert it, you can enter "/".
If crashes occur frequently during conversion, go to System Settings> Apps> AquaMozc for Titan> Storage Settings> Erase Data. (Don't forget to back up your user dictionary)
