This is a 5 star game, just go into it expecting a brutally hard dungeon crawler (I play a lot of these types of games too, and...Ouch.), because if you don't, you can get some major ">=( GAH, SCREW YOU FOREVER!!1!" whiplash from that. The assigned motive from the story feels a bit too heavy handed, but that's easy to forget. If you're feeling ballsy, you'll have a good time.

Amazing! Truly immersive ascii-style roguelike with, what I'd call, DOTA-style skill system. Damn near perfect design, honestly. Respect from the creator(s), for the iconography being used as art assets, is evident. It makes the experience cooler to gain that IRL context. This game cute as heck too. The only flaw, and it's glaring, is the hyper short loop of music. I think it's oddly appropriate and maddening admittedly, but I'm crazy. Love this game.

Needs improvement. While luck being a factor is customary in Roguelikes, this game is a little too reliant on RNG. I've descended stairs, only to be one-shotted by a Karakasa's Glide attack immediately after arriving on a new floor, literally not having a single turn to do anything. On Picnic mode. The game's luck factor needs to be toned down. Otherwise, the game is fine.
