This app made it possible for me to have a phone again. I get really distracted by all of the bells and whistles of smartphones. I tried candy bar phones and flip phones, but there are very few of them these days, and they all have deal-breaking flaws. I looked at the Light Phone, but it seemed like a lot of money for something that’s still in development. This app makes my phone work exactly like I want it to, with a nice, clean interface. You can still access your phone settings with this launcher, and you can change the launcher to the stock one if you need to. Highly recommend!

I'm editing my long review from the other day in the hopes that some people read this and stop asking for more app slots on the home screen. I am using XDA Navigation Gestures in conjunction with this launcher and it has resolved my need for a few more app slots. The problem is that we can't seem to find a happy medium between convenience and functionality with today's smartphones. Default launchers make it too easy to waste time on social media, and LessPhone does not quite strike the right balance. So after setting my home screen up with Bluecoins, Maps, Messages, and Call; I was left wanting for my other very important utility apps.With XDA Navigation Gestures I can access Calculator, Chrome, Lastpass, Spotify, and Assistant. Now my phone is set for utility without sacrificing convenience, while still restricting (more like adding hurdles) to open any app that might waste my time. Changed my review from 4 to 5 stars now and purchased the dark theme since this will be my launcher indefinitely.

This app has changed my relationship with my phone for better. I'm grateful it was created. I was considering getting a Lightphone, but felt that giving up apps like Maps and Uber could put me in unsafe situations. This solved that problem perfectly! The one thing I wish LessPhone did was add the option for the user to edit the app NAMES that appear on the home screen. It would simplify things even further to be able to rename my RSS reader app "News," my Firefox app "Browser," etc. Thanks!
