The Cyber999 app is a tool for reporting cyber security incidents or online threats to the Cyber999 Help Centre of CyberSecurity Malaysia. It is free, easy-to-use, and suitable for users of Android and iOS smart phones.

The Cyber999 app will transmit the reports from users via secure Internet connection to the Cyber999 incident handling team who will then contact the users (complainants) to assist in resolving the incidents.

Example of incidents commonly reported to CyberSecurity Malaysia are: Cyber Fraud, Phishing and Scams; Malware or Virus Infection, Spams, System Intrusion, Web defacement and DDoS; Cyber Harassment, Defamation, Seditious and Inappropriate Contents.

The Cyber999 Help Centre of CyberSecurity Malaysia is always innovating so as to assist Internet users efficiently, timely and effectively.

To activate, simply tap on the Cyber999 icon on your android or iOS smart phone. The Cyber999 app will immediately provide the following options:
• Report an incident now
• Choose other reporting channel
• Read about Cyber999 services.

I have entered all details and when when click submit button it is still asking me to fill in all the required fields which i have done. It DOES NOT tell me or indicate which field that is incomplete for me to fill up. NOT User friendly.. After spending almost 30mins , i am unable to submit my report...how? I call the 24x7 and was asked to report thru email. So why have an app if it does not work properly?? PLEASE IMPROVE APPS USER EXPERIENCE.

When i try to submit my report it said check your connection while im all full 4g bar.what is wrong?

Simple and direct. Easy to use actually. Since its just a reporting tool, but the question is, what if PC or notebook is in trouble? It would be very nice if PC and laptop could have app like this to make report in any emergency. But then again, plugging off from the internet would make this useless too. But then, if the phone was infected, what good is this app?
