About this game

Flight Sim Remote Panel is an application that shows basic general aviation instrument set on your Android phone or a tablet. This is not a simulator - a copy of the X-Plane simulator should be running on your desktop or a laptop - this application connects to it from an Android device and displays the flight instruments, hence the "remote panel" in its name.

This app offers 3 separate panels: each can be configured by selecting from 6 basic flight instruments. In addition, it includes a basic radio stack with a standard Bendix/King KM24 Audio Control panel and a dual KX155 NAV/COMM System.

With this app, you can extend your general airplane instrument panel onto an Android device; you can completely close your instrument panel on the X-Plane display and use that extra space for a larger terrain view or simply use it to show different instruments.

To use this application, your device needs to be connected to the same network as the host computer, which most likely already is when you are playing an X-Plane.

Please see the application website for more information on complete installation requirements which includes the X-Plane plugin: on the PC side, you need to add a custom plugin that communicates with this app. The plugin can be downloaded from this application's home website.

Please rate this application on its own merits and for what it is and how it works for you. For example, it is clearly stated that this app needs an X-Plane plugin, so don't give it a poor rating because you'd like to have something else (one that does not need that.) Yes, it does need few extra files on your PC and a few minutes of your time to make it all work - but we simmers are aspiring pilots who should be able to handle such โ€œcomplexityโ€, right?

If something did not work for you in some way, send me an email and I will try to help.

Also, if you have any question, problem or suggestion, please email me!

Happy flying!

Works with X-Plane 12! At first it did not want to connect. After I read through the website a couple times I tried turning off my firewall and it connected right away. Good app. Simple to use (once it is setup) and a lot cheaper to buy a cheap tablet than individual instruments. Thanks for making this available.

This is awesome for my X-Plane 11 setup and my old andriod 3.2 tablet, that I was literally going to throw away. Thank you for this. If I could post a picture of how my setup looks, I would. Now to find another tablet to display the radio. Thank you sir for a great app. Just some resolution issue, but otherwise, really great. For the people complaining. A: It is free, stop whining. B: Read the help guide. It explains perfectly how to get it to work on X-Plane 11

Excellent addon! Took me a while, I was getting some error codes but just needed to install a few redistributable packages and it worked. The framerates of the app are low but considering it's free, I'll take it. I would only reccomend adding a note of the website that you may need to install those packages.
