This app is frustrating because it has great potential, but just doesn't work in many scenarios. The search function displays resources that are no longer part of the catalog. A bunch of audiobooks give an error and refuse to play. The "place hold" option is useless as it (usually) just drops my hold, or extends the time I have to wait. I wish there were alternatives to this app that my library used, or better yet, I wish the app worked.

A poorly designed mess. The search function is rudimentary & the results displayed often have no sensible order. Books that I finished reading a year ago (and so have certainly expired) still show up in the "my books" tab & cannot be either read or removed. When something you had a hold on becomes available, you get no notification. Most annoying is the actual experience of reading an ebook - it constantly resizes the page & if you exit the app, it resets you to the start of the chapter. Ugh

I decided to try this app for an audio book, as my public library offers it and Libby. After I make it through the audio book I have (if the app doesn't fail catastrophically) I will go back to Libby. Simply E is simply awful. I can not recommend it. Fails to load, freezes, crashes, loses the page and starts over... it just doesn't work well. Giving it a one star review is being very generous.
