About this app

SatFinder is a tool designed to help you setting up your satellite Dish (the Dish). Based on a given location it determines the angles of azimuth and elevation and shows you in which direction to point your Dish. The result can be seen on compass and on a map. It has also AR (augmented reality) vision.

In comparison to my oryginal SatFinder this version:
- got better navigation,
- has possibility to use gyroscope sensor or magnetometer and accelerometer,
- got built-in custom satellite list editor.

On my Samsung A5 (Android 7) the map refuses to rotate. On my Motorola G8 (Android 11) it is ok and correct. I am on the Noth half of the earth. Weird on the openings screen (all phones): when facing south towards the satellite the N (north) of the compass ring points south and the satellite is supposed to be in the north. When you use magnetometer and accelerometer the app has problems around 0 degrees azimuth (or the real north).
