MY LUZ is your personal online area of ​​the Hospital da Luz network where you can carry out video consultations without leaving home and access a set of features and information about your health and that of your family members.

You can also search and view information about our doctors and our hospitals and clinics.

All free, confidential and secure.

MY LUZ is available to people over 16 years of age and membership is free. After creating your account on the app, you will have access to a set of features and personal information about your activity in the hospitals and clinics you use from the Hospital da Luz network: Águeda, Amadora, Amarante, Arrábida, Aveiro, Caniço, Cantanhede, Cerveira, Coimbra, Covilhã, Évora, Figueira da Foz, Funchal, Guimarães, Lisbon, Luísa Todi, Odivelas, Oeiras, Oiã, Pombal, Porto, Póvoa de Varzim, Santa Maria da Feira, Setúbal, Solum, Torres de Lisboa and Vila Real .

With MY LUZ you can:

• Respond to the Health Assessor's questionnaire and receive a report with your answers and personalized solutions to improve quality of life and well-being;
• Book appointments, exams and video consultations;
• Receive alerts about upcoming appointments and available exam results;
• Carry out a video consultation using your Smartphone or Computer;
• Record and import your measurements and health data from Google Fit and Apple Health and share them with your doctor;
• Manage your Family's agenda, being able to associate your children under 16 or any other member of your family;
• Share your account with another person, who will also manage your health;
• View, save and share the results of clinical analyzes and other exams with a doctor;
• View exam images (available at units in Amadora, Amarante, Arrábida, Cerveira, Coimbra (Hospital), Covilhã, Évora, Funchal, Lisbon, Odivelas, Oeiras, Porto, Póvoa do Varzim, Santa Maria da Feira, Setúbal, Torres Lisbon and Vila Real).
• View and save medication prescriptions and search for pharmacies near you;
• Upload and save health documents that can then be viewed by your doctor during your appointment.
• View and save prescriptions for consultations and exams issued by your doctor (available at units in Amadora, Cantanhede, Coimbra, Figueira da Foz, Lisbon, Odivelas, Oeiras, Pombal, Solum and Torres de Lisboa).
• Consult your invoices and make payments online using Credit Card, MB WAY, PayPal and Multibanco Reference;
• Access the detailed history of your medical acts on the Hospital da Luz network;
• Have access to the attendance statement, which you can send or print to deliver to your company;
• Search all doctors and specialties in the Hospital da Luz network.

Ratings and reviews

App is very poorly made and extremely slow. Before you sign in, you can choose language, but it changes back to Portuguese after a few clicks. The "setting" button doesn't react at all, so you can't change the language back to English. Because you can't access the settings, there is also no way to know if there is even an option to stop the unnecessary notifications. I only wanted notifications regarding appointments, but now I had to block all notifications from this app in the phone settings.

It is quite bad. Since a month now I am unable to log in. When you launch the app, it automatically goes to biometric login, which I never set up in the first place, and when I tap on "go back to login", the login screen hangs, irresponsive. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling, have tried clearing the cache and app data, and it will work once only and then the next time hangs again. Always have to wait to be next to a PC so I can enter MyLuz via a browser.

Generally good but If you need to view anything outside of the app (ie online prescription/ referral from doctor) it makes you reenter the PIN/Biometrics then what you were in the middle if doing freezes and you have to start again. Very, very annoying. Has more security this way than my 4 banking apps. PLEASE STOP!!
