To experience George on mobile/tablet, you need an account with BCR as well as a valid George account. The application requires at least Android 5.1 and It works also on Android-powered tablets.

Ratings and reviews

After a few months of very buggy behavior (not being able to login, error messages about time and date being wrong on the phone), it looks like they fixed the underlying issues. The application is working fine now, with no errors in the last few days. For a banking app, it's one of the best, allowing not only basic access to accounts, but you can also apply for a credit or open a new account from the app, without going to the bank.

One of the shittiest banking apps in existence. You can't export pending transactions, you can't print screen them or ANYTHING!! You can't modify the date of your loan payment through the app and have to go there in person, but not during the weekend, during the damn week. You also need an appointment for that but can't choose the date in the app when making a bank appointment. BCR IS BUREAUCRATIC HELL!

Login does not work. ^Update after calling *2227: - as per security requirements, George scans locally for any type of remote access apps, e.g., Anydesk, Team Viewer, etc.; - even if you uninstall the remote app, the server blocks the connection, and it can be re-enabled by calling the help line. Hope this helps

What's new

The new version comes with an added look by customizing the icon as you like. I have prepared something for Juniors too! A tour of the application for the little ones who are about to turn 14. Also, parents will be able to display or hide the foreign currency accounts from the Parental Control section. If you want to call the Contact Center, you will find a new topic for financial coaching.
