Our school has recently adopted this app to replace text messaging. The app is definitely a tad buggy. It occasionally gets itself into a pickle opening, leaving a spinning logo that doesn't go anywhere. The only way I've found to get it to load without restarting the phone is to right click my phone and close it from the recently viewed apps. That then seems to close the app properly and manages to re-open. I wish there was a way to differentiate between messages in the notifications that are just for info (to look at leisure - eg. school newsletters) vs an urgent message about your child - e.g. your child needs to be picked up early because an after school club got cancelled. Also, it would be handy if the app has templates for news/newsletters etc for schools so that they didn't rely on just attaching letters made in word docs, which are a tad difficult to read on phones!

Sign up doesn't follow Google's autofill guidelines so you can't use it to auto suggest a strong password. I also found midway through typing the password, it would drop me out of the text box for no reason. In the app I see no content at all. There's no way in settings to manage notification sounds etc. You can't use the phone's back button to exit from menus, it does nothing. Feels like a bad iOS port to me...

Frustrating app!!! Although you updated the app on 07/04/2020 I am still having issues opening up the app. One day I wont get notifications so do a check to see if I've missed anything and get a weeks worth of info. But when I do get notifications I can't get on the app. Spoken to you already, reset, etc but it just isn't good enough. I have a new phone and up to date system and uninstalling the app doesn't work. 2wks now you've been trying to help!!!! Update 25th May: non of the advice works!

Hi Kirsty, just to double-check: to restart the app, you'll need to tap the app tray (usually in the very bottom-left of your phone), swipe upwards to close Parent Hub, then open it again from your Home screen. If this does not fix your issue, please contact us on support@parenthub.co.uk Thank you!
