Previously, I would go to the WPD site and report a problem and receive updates by text message. That service is no longer available, instead there's this app. Which doesn't work at THE ONE JOB it is supposed to do. I can't report a power cut, it says "Please check your postcode" when I try to report a problem. I have checked, and the postcode is correct. Trying to view current outages throws up an error. Maybe put the old Web service back online while you're getting the app fixed, WPD.

There is even less information about the power cut than on the website. No map showing the area affected. No incident history. Also, the 'live chat' function mentioned in the description - nowhere to be seen. The history of your power cuts? Only there if you have reported it - I want to see an actual history for my area, as this is the second HV power cut within a few weeks. I also want to see more detail about a cut, and why it happened Overall, really disappointing app.

1 star is 1 star too many. This app can't even show all the power cuts in the country let alone the ones specific to my area. It claims to not recognise the post code but still zooms in to the correct area. You cannot report a fault as you can't get past the "not recognised" stage. Uninstalled and reverted to the tried and tested telephone reporting.
