Ratings and reviews

Game is pretty fun, if a bit repetitive. I wish we had more customization of team/uniform/players that wasn't so expensive. I understand premium accessories/looks, but we should have more freedom over the look of our teams. Otherwise gameplay is enjoyable and the game runs really smoothly.

I played boom beach years back and would regularly spend 5, 10, 20 dollars at a time becuase it was fun and you'd get a fairly significant boost for the cost. I never spend money on this game because the price to significantly upgrade a player is absurd. If it was 10 bucks to get a significant uptick in performance from a player I would definitely do it but it's 40 or 50 dollars. Never gonna do that. And as you play that is really the only way to be able to compete.

Overall a good game but has issues. The auto play inning button is next to the substitute button and has no sanity check, making it easy to accidentally skip your inning and potentially ruin a game. The AI does really stupid things like trying to run when the ball will clearly make it long before they do but only with your players or they will allow runs to throw someone else out. You can also see them fly like Superman to catch a ball that they shouldn't be able to catch.
