I really liked it. There is a prequel and others after. So to get the whole story you have to keep listening. The narrator sounds a bit like Stephen King in his own voice but then has many variations for all of the characters, it is easy to tell who is speaking. This app is great because you can listen to many free starter books before innvesting in a series you may not care for. I don't know how my account got the name jubilation T cornpone though, clearly that is not me.

I have read these awhile ago... enjoying listening to them this time; the narrator is VERY relaxing to listen to, which makes or breaks an audiobook tbh IMO

This is a great book! I’ve never read this specific genre, but I’m super impressed and glad I found another world of fantasy to fall in love with!! Although, my only complaint, which has nothing to do with the story line per se, but it’s the book version, not the audiobook, that had SO many typos, incomplete sentences (which I eventually just went to the audiobook version, as they both were free.) I think that it has been corrected, I could be wrong, but I’m always finding typos in print, ebooks
