About this ebook

The most important fact about the coronavirus pandemic that turned the world upside down in 2020 is that our response to it has been an epic overreaction driven by a disastrous confluence of public and private interests—all of them purporting to “follow the science.”

Since the lockdowns began, millions of Americans have relied on the reporting of Alex Berenson. Exposing the hysteria and manipulation behind the worst failure of public policy since World War I, this clear-eyed journalist has been a critical source of reason and truth.

The product of relentless investigation and research, Pandemia explains how an illness that many people will never even know they had became the occasion for economically ruinous lockdowns and the suppression of personal freedom on a previously unimaginable scale. Dispassionate, factual, and untainted by any agenda other than telling the truth, this is the account that pandemic-weary Americans desperately need.

They just let anyone write books now, huh? Alex is just one of many grifters that have gained popularity in the midst of the worst public health crisis of our time. He spouts harmful garbage based off of gross misinterpretations of data and scientific studies, wrapped in a bow of fear-mongering and ramblings about "personal freedoms at risk" he uses to reach his vulnerable audience. He's had takes and predictions about the trajectory of COVID ("The U.S. won't hit 500k deaths") that were just so off the mark, I can't understand why anyone has paid someone so wrong any attention at all. I do not think he spreads this ignorance maliciously, but rather that he truly believes in his own stupidity - which is arguably worse. The brazenness in which he spreads his misinformation is part of what has made this pandemic the never-ending nightmare it seems to be becoming with each day. If you value truth, intelligence, and rationality, don't give fools like Alex Berenson your hard-earned money.

Great if you subscribe to right wing brainwashing and don't care about the people who have died because of covid.

Alex is a superb journalist, with very good credentials and sacrificed his cred among mainstream media in his reporting on the pandemic. He was also a critic of Trump. The highlighted reviews are trolls (I wonder why trolls are at the top, huh). I bought it on Amazon where the reviews are 5 stars.
