About this ebook

It's the 1920s and Daisy Gumm Majesty is doing her part to support her family as a medium by holding séances and interpreting tarot cards for the rich and famous.
When the wealthy Mrs. Kincaid comes to Daisy to help solve her husband's disappearance, Detective Sam Rotondo isn't far behind.
Sam isn't fooled by Daisy's choice of "vocation" and blackmails her into spying on the Kincaids.
Then Daisy reads Sam's cards... and the tables turn.

From the Publisher: The Daisy Gumm Majesty Cozy Mystery Series is a light-hearted mystery in a historical setting. There are no explicit sexual scenes and minimal cursing and will be enjoyed by readers who appreciate clean and wholesome reads.

If you have a love for all things circa 1920s, the attitudes, the morality, idioms, etc. you are in luck; it was masterfully included. If you believe in the Paranormal, and respect it, then you are out of luck; it is treated as nothing more than a con game. However, the storyline being weak, you still find yourself reading more and more just to see what crap Daisy (main character) gets into next. I find myself surprised because I enjoyed the quirkiness of the book.

Had little hopes originally for the book as I have been so disappointed by so many of the e-books I have obtained recently. From page 1 I was taken with Daisy Gumm & now am not ready to give her up! I want more...thank you for such a compilation of absorbing characters. I simply must keep reading to find out if my suspicion ( & not little hope) regarding Daisy & Sam comes to fruition.

Good read for a period piece. Title doesn't match the books context to me but I still enjoyed it very much. Daisy is a spirited young woman in the 1920s. Must detail of the time period included.
