A historical thriller. This book started out with a bang I have great respect for Annabelle where she was and what she was doing was courageous. The book just got better as I read it. Steven our reluctant earl was a great character too. This story is all about a missing heir and dealing with a murderer. There is danger and intrigue all mixed into this romance. Courted by the Earl is an engaging Regency romance with some suspense added. The characters are well depicted and interesting. The story is well written and captured my interest from beginning to end. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
