This is an excellent, suspenseful dragon shifter romance & I absolutely enjoyed reading it. It is the third book in the series “Broken Souls” There are some characters crossovers but this romance can be read as a standalone. The plot is well-written & full of intrigue. The unique characters are strong-willed & have a determination to succeed at any cost. It is about: a dragon (Constantine) always prepared to help other dragon shifters but has given up on himself long ago then he comes into contact with a witch (Alice) held captive & discovers that fate has a plan for them. There is: dragon shifters, dragon spirits, dark elves, a witch, humans, twists & turns, intrigue, suspense, some humor, secrets, mystery, adventure, action, danger, threats, enemies, regrets, confrontations, despair, a magic mirror, disbelief, misjudgment, devious plans, torture, death, teleportation, a rescue mission, discovery, redemption, soul mates, some steam, contentment, love, happiness & a wonderful conclusion.
