WOW! When I started the book, I had a few expectations based on the beginning. But by the end, I felt like I had been on a roller coaster road! The authors really have a fantastic book for their debut. I was drawn into the story from page one and had trouble putting this one down. The book had a great ending with a big twist. I enjoyed the book immensely. I look forward to more from this author. I received an advance copy and am voluntarily leaving a review.

A real mind-twisting thriller – and I loved every single sentence! Paul Henderson has reached a happy point in his life; his career is progressing well, he has a wonderful relationship with girlfriend Jenna who is pregnant with their baby. Then, out of the blue, there is a blast from the past which seems impossible – and yet it’s happening. His ex appears to be back on the scene – and yet, Paul knows she can’t be. As with all secrets and lies, it begins to eat away at him affecting his everyday life. Can Paul and Jenna pull together before this pulls them apart? I loved the style of writing in this one. I was drawn to the characters from the very beginning and must admit I was surprised to discover that it was written by two authors in collaboration. I have read similarly written novels previously and they don’t always flow as well as this one. The story is quite compelling – I was really focussed on what was happening and, giving the matter some consideration when I wasn’t actually reading (always the sign of a good book, when you continue thinking about it after putting it aside), I employed the Sherlock Holmes’ method of deduction ‘when you have eliminated the impossible, whatever remains, however improbable, must be the truth?’. I was convinced I had worked it out and I had – but with no idea why! Luckily, the authors had the good sense to include a full explanation. Engrossing and enigmatic, this one definitely has my recommendation and 4.5*.

“She knows what you did…Now she’s back…” Secret, lies, deception, twists, some unsavoury characters and a message from a presumably dead ex fiancé…Sign my up please! This book was right up my alley and is one very intense and suspenseful read. The plot is strong and had me instantly hooked and whilst I did find it moved on the slightly slower side at times, it is still a very enjoyable and entertaining read. The collaboration between the two authors works very well and even though I am not familiar with their individual work and styles, I found them to be completely in sync with each other. A great partnership between the two, they have done a great job with Remember Me and I hope they will write more books together in the future.
