Amelia Shaw must have grown up on a different version of Cinderella than I did. Her version allows 'Shaw'na to whine from morning to night, steal with impunity, and perform malicious magic because 'everything is hard' and 'my evil wicked step sisters are so mean'. It also allows Shaw to ignore proper grammar and spelling in the process. No thank you. Could not finish this awful, self indulgent spin of one of Grimm's classics. I prefer a heroine with grit rather than whine.

i love your books so much, but this was terrible. i disliked the main characters she is annoying its difficult to even feel sorry for her, horrible decisions... they didnt even have time to fall in love... terrible terrible terrible

this is a really good book, I love how relatable Shawna is sometimes life puts you in a tough spot and sometimes the only choice you have are wrong ones I love that she doesn't lose herself to being a thief and wants to do better
