Jack Rankin gets in trouble for defacing school property with gum and the principal sentences him to after-school gum cleanup for the chief custodian, his father. During his time doing gum clean-up after school, Jack finds out some pretty surprising things about the school, about Jack's father, and about himself.

The book is probably great,I love Andrew Clements' but the sample doesn't work...btw seems like its dork diaries with a boy O.o

Nice enough story. Quick read. Not enough detail for me, or emotion, a tid bit bland.
