I love the characters in this book. The chemistry between Prue and Jasper is combustible. The story is engrossing and fun, the kind you stay up all night to finish. The audiobook narration was entertaining. Thanks, NetGalley, for the ARC I received. This is my honest and voluntary review.

This is a wonderfully entertaining story with great characters. There is snarky banter, attempted blackmail, a slightly crazy ex-mistress, a match-making grandfather, and a heroine who shoots the hero in the rear-end. This is an enemies-to-lovers story with lots of fun, an interesting romance, and a happy ending.

I just adored this historical read. I loved both Prue and Jasper. They were so fun together, opposites who bring out the best in the other. Another great addition to this fun series.
