It was an ok read. I had a few laughs but it didn't really satisfy me the way the trilogy did. It felt much like tying up loose ends and quickly.

A perfect conclusion to a brilliantly original series. Anne Bishop's Dark Jewels are the pinnacle of fantasy fiction: sensual, enticing and imminently enthralling!

Don't buy. It was a disappointment. You have to be in love with Surreal, but I wasn't, I was in love with Janelle.
