Ratings and reviews

I have always had a high regard for the creations of Anne McCaffrey and when a book combines her talents with those of Elizabeth Moon it becomes a reader's dream. I am looking forward to reading the complete series and more. My only reason for not awarding the fifth star was what I felt was a somewhat hurried end to the story but then perhaps I was a bit too exacting.

I love the heroine of this book. All the characters are finely drawn and made me wish I could really meet them, the good ones, of course. A rollicking read you may want to enjoy again.
