I loved all books in Captain Lacey series Volume 3, in Volume 2 and 1. All characters are so real like especially his confidante and I am happy that the confidant was able to show his love for Marianne; I could go on and on about the other characters; I will not except to say all the characters add depth to the books/series. I am entralled by Captain Lacey; I happy he found a love that he could married and he reunited with his daughter! Also a person can read all the books in the series or just read one and know more or less about all the characters. The author has a talented for doing this ...
