Newest and one of the best, my new favorite. Barbara Freethy just keeps getting better and better with each new book in this series. Andi and Cooper run afoul while solving the mystery that drove them apart as children. Lots of action, bad guys and questions abound, while facing each of their respective trust issues. Exciting, excellent read. Do not miss this one.

I write this sleep deprived as I stayed up half the night reading this amazing book. I was hooked from the first chapter and couldn’t put it down. Barbara is terrific at weaving an engaging, action-packed, suspenseful and emotional romance mystery. Andi and Cooper are wonderful characters. As they work together, they are forced to face events from the past that ended their friendship. As the story unfolded, I was suspicious of many people, but Barbara kept me engaged and trying to figure out who was the “bad guy”. I highly recommend this book. It can be read as a standalone; however, the entire series is fantastic. I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Readers Copy of this book.
