Continues from the first book, they are finishing a concert in Denver going back to hotel. A reporter Cat,stalking Staley now violating court order to get pictures. Her Mom has had enough of him, and Cat shoves her into path of a car. From a hospital bed she shares the past of a father Shaley wanted to know. Was there any truth to the last words that Jerry whispered to Shaley before he died. The tour is cancelled and going home.
