I enjoy Candace Camp detailed romantic stories, I admitted I read the first book, "An Unexpected Pleasure because the author has the same first name as I do, but since then I have been hooked. This book is great if you can get pass the slow beginning.

A nice holiday treat. The hero is a bit unbelievable in that he almost immediately pays court to the town's vicar's daughter and spinster but it's fun to see the underdog prevail.
