This was a riveting tale that I really enjoyed. I found it interesting the way the author Bohjalian wrote a story within a story. And then there was the ending that took me by complete surprise. In my opinion the book is a great read, but not a super read. Still worthy and I would recommend it to anyone.

I loved this book. With The Great Gatsby one of my favorite books, I enjoyed all the references to Gatsby, et.al. I did not see the ending coming but thought it was a great twist. This is the first book I read by this author and I would definitely read more. We read this for my book club and it led to a great discussion.
