About this ebook

Welcome to Farraday Country, a twist on the favorite 7 Brides for 7 Brothers theme set in cattle-ranching west Texas, with all the friends, family and fun that fans have come to expect from USA TODAY Bestselling author Chris Keniston.

On a barren road in the pre-dawn hours, Adam Farraday, the oldest of seven siblings, happens upon a disabled sports car and an angel in white searching for a disappearing dog. What is it about this secretive redheaded beauty that intrigues him as no woman has before?

After learning her fiancé's true nature minutes before her wedding, Meg O'Brien drives as fast and as far away from her world as she can. Stranded with no money, and nowhere to go, the city girl must learn to fit in to small town life and all its quirky trappings. Too bad falling in love with her handsome rescuer is not an option.

This is the first time I am reading Chris Keniston's book and I love it. A good introduction to a new series and to the Faraday family. I like that the opening scene with the mystery surrounding Meg. Definitely got me curious to find out the truth about Meg. The plot on the Ponzy scheme gave the story a little twist as well. Can't wait to read to meet the rest of the Faraday siblings and read about them finding their true love.

really nice vanilla story. I enjoyed the close hometown character interaction, so I was not totally upset about the lack of steamy interaction between the main characters.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book, and I want to read about the rest of the family finding their true love. Something about a tall, handsome cowboy saving the day; a good old fashioned western with a modern twist. This story had me guessing from the beginning, I was anxious to see what had Meg running. I don't want to spoil it for anyone, but I loved how their story unfolded. I'm so looking forward to the next book in the series. What I love about series like this is you see how your favourite characters' lives are doing, meet their children, and see how they interact with the next hero & heroine.

About the author

USA TODAY Bestselling author Chris Keniston's love of a good story and frustration with the end of a well-known author's romance best seller, drove her to pen her own works of romance and fiction.

Currently working on the contemporary romance series, Farraday Country, Chris brings stories of falling in love, matchmaking, Texas Cowboys, family values, and all around entertaining shenanigans that fans have grown to love and expect from her bestselling books.

In her Aloha Series, Chris tips her hat to the military writing poignant and sometimes funny stories of life with former military heroes. Using popular themes of small towns and sandy beaches blended with stories of the single dad, survivor’s guilt, an accidental wedding and so more continues to make the Aloha Series a reader's choice.

Readers won't want to miss Chris' romantic women's fiction novels that include a variety of themes from international settings dealing with wealthy millionaires, family feuds and tropical beaches, to the relationships between family and friends in small town Texas, and to sisterhood and friendship in the award winning novel The Champagne Sisterhood

A native New Yorker, Chris Keniston was on her way to Australia when she fell in love with North Texas. Little did she know the balmy seventy degree October days would turn into fry-an-egg-on-the-sidewalk heat in August!

Author of more than a dozen contemporary novels, including a finalist for the prestigious Golden Heart Award, Chris lives in North Texas with her husband, two human children, and two canine children. Though she loves her puppies equally, she admits being especially attached to her German Shepherd rescue named Gunny. After all, even dogs deserve a happily ever after.
