Finally! Something else dealing with Alagaesia, Eragon and some of the characters from the Inheritance Cycle. It's been long coming, but was an excellent read. Once again, Christopher has shown his skill in story-telling and fantasy fiction. A well thought out book that fills in a few of the questions I had after the conclusion of Inheritance. I am looking forward to the continuation of Eragon's and Saphira's story. That was the only problem I had with the series. It was bitter-sweet and left me wanting more. At last, I've had a taste of life after Alagaesia. I'm looking forward to more. Keep it coming!

As always I love living through adventures in the world that Christopher paolinivhas crafted over the years and I just want to say how much I appreciate them. This is by far my favorite fantasy world and I am never let down by my favorite author. I was worried momentarily by how this book was structured, having the three separate parts but it was brought together perfectly and I enjoyed every word. Thanks again for another great round of adventures and stories - A life long fan

While this is a great book, the story contents could have been greatly elaborated on. The book, in my opinion, feels rushed and too quick to tell a story, especially at first. The story just doesn't digest as well when this fast paced. The Urgal story was essentially all this book was about and it was great. Though, again, I feel this book could have been well over 1k pages if it were written slowly and thoroughly, with each story element expanded upon greatly.
