Ratings and reviews

This book has a number of problems when compared to the first Sea Hunters book (which I completely enjoyed). It repeats material from the first book which feels like it was inserted as padding. The book seems to have been rushed to print without proof reading. As glaring examples: He spells Titanic wrong. He gets the name of JFK's first officer on PT109 wrong. He doesn't know the difference between a stem and a stern and many others. He tries to make mysteries of things that aren't mysteries such as the Akron. Most divers in NJ know where the Akron lies. I dove on it when I was in high school many years ago. We didn't need NUMA to find it for us. He lost me when he say things such as "We looked exactly where the psychic told us. Can't understand why we didn't find anything." Overall, not a truely bad book but far below what I expected from Clive Cussler.
