With the exception of one story thread, I found the focus of this book really keeping my attention. I must have completed this one twice as fast as the last one because it was so enrapturing. The growth we see in Cithrin is satisfying, Marcus is as entertaining as ever, and we wrap up the most hated character's storyline almost feeling sympathy for him again. I can't wait for the final book.
