Yule Be My Duke by Darcy Burke is a perfect historical Christmas romance to start the holiday season with or any other time of the year when you need a little holiday enemies to lovers romance. With both of their parents pushing for marriage and it would seem negotiating also, Cecilia and John decide to make whatever matchmaking is about to happen be on their terms and no one else's. I enjoyed this story and look forward to reading more books in this series.

A lovely holiday romp, with enemies to lovers, one bed and a house party. A match between a menace and a shrew can never work, could it? This is exactly the premise for this story and let me tell you the back and forth between these two is delightful. I love a taunting love, the teasing, the bickering and the banter. You can tell they it is all half-hearted in it’s animosity as the physical connection is always at it’s core. The tender support from the parents made for a great family feel.
